I feel the middle portion of the theme is good, but the top header and bottom footer aren’t doing anything for me.

I feel the fonts are difficult to read. Specifically the sub-headers in the footer.

my thoughts on the Header – the icons are two difficult to make it, try making the orange tones deeper.

I think the header could benefit from really subtle shading/textures.

I don’t claim to be a master designer, but I hope these criticisms are helpful.

I agree with the assessment as I don’t think it currently lives up to standards.

However I’m unsure what critisms to give you. Yellow is a very very difficult color scheme to pull off in a website. To be honest i’m not entirely sure what I would do to it.

I liked this one, is there any difficulty inherent in changing the picture for the front?

A few points.

1. In your presentation above. Don’t present the buttons overlapping each other. Display each button fully. 2. the textures stick out a touch to much. 3. Try playing with lighting and shading more to give it a more 3D “button-y” quality/ 4. The font type is way to small and the placement doesn’t really work for the height of the button. 5. Try offering a rounded corner version. 6. Try a different font type, plus also adding styles to the font. on darker backgrounds try a white font.

The placement of the John Doe name isn’t doing it for me. Not a huge fan of the font choice as well.

I’ll try to marshall my opinions as best I can for you.

if the placement logo is on the front, I don’t think it should be repeated and right next the Name on the back.

You have some modern shapes and background styles, but the font is to “scripty” for my liking. Try to find a font that is more modern like Nevis.

I think the next thing I create will be a web based template for Joomla or just a straight up website template.

I work as a full time developer and designer so its hard to get myself to come home and continue working on it. But seeing that first sale has spurned me on.

Just wanted to express my pleasure of getting my first sale recently. This has spurred me to get back into creation mode and try to submit more to these marketplaces.

who knows, maybe 12 months from now I’ll make enough to cover my morning coffee expenses.
