I have an entire site on index.php that changes content via jQuery. The order goes like this:
title, navigation, div a, div b, div c
Logically, I hide what I don’t need and show what I do. My issue is that I want to be able to change the title (i.e specify the “page”). How would I go about doing that? Thanks.
Pretty much where I’m at now, except I focus a lot more on design than development. I’m also in the process of starting a business – exactly how you mentioned, simply by getting involved.
Unfortunately, time is a huge issue and I’m in serious danger of failing a class I need as a pre-req for a class next semester… to graduate. Stressed.
I plan on going through the ThemeForest blog wordpress tutorials, but until I do, I’ve been asked to do something that I would imagine to be a simple task. How can I turn email addresses into mailto links?
I know that’s probably a bad thing to do, but alas. I do not own the internet and thus cannot make the rules.
Wow, that’s ridiculous. The name change definitely won’t affect anything, but if the site is doing anything at all its making Flash more popular.
Interesting thing to waste their time on.
This may be counter productive since you said free, but I HIGHLY recommend Mozy. Get the Foxmarks discount and it’s about 50 bucks a year for regular backups and versioning without a disc space limit.
When a link is clicked in jCarousel, I need the position of the carousel to stay where it is onto the next page. Is this possible?
Cookies sound like a viable option, but I’m not very familiar with using them. I think I have once or twice ever, so I’m going to try that method last.
xmdsys, that’s exactly what I’m looking for, but the design aspect is significantly different since the page is already designed for the client. I’m going to try the history plugin, hopefully I can get it working with my limited js knowledge.
Thanks! I really appreciate the responses.
The issue isn’t really tabs, per se. I have basically pagination going on, except just numbers 1-2 right now. It defaults to 1. When I click 2, it hides the first div and slides the next in from the right. On THAT div, I have links that go to separate pages completely.
I want to be able to page back from the page you click to, to the div you see if you press 2.
