I personally think the quality of most of the logos are awful. That could be applied to most of the files in Graphic River, however.

There are a few logos which are nice, but to reiterate a point made by others, I think that logos should be definitely be unique, and, like other logo marketplaces, should be sold only once and be exclusive to the buyer.

I would suggest that vector objects would be good enough for designing a logo — obviously, the buyer/”designer” could add his/her own text to the object to create a logo.

I can tell many people will use the logos ‘as-is’, rather than modify them and create a new brand. I suppose it’s like buying and installing a pre-made website template — if you don’t really modify it then there’s going to be a whole load of sites looking like yours.

I don’t know if I’m misunderstanding you or you’re misunderstanding me, but I would also like to have the actual link to change based on the category the user is on.

I have a question regarding WordPress on my website (links are below to pages for demonstration)

If a user was to be on iPad Games, a link somewhere on that page (preferably above the category name) would be displayed saying something like “Best iPad Games of All Time”.

If the user was to go to Mac Business apps, then the link would change to say “Best Business Apps for iPad of All Time” and so forth.

Any solution would be great.

Thanks for everyone’s replies, haven’t yet read the ones about ascending/descending minor scales, however. I’ll read them tomorrow.

However, I have some questions about triplets.

If, for example, you have tripleted quavers (eighth note I believe), what would the time value for those tripleted quavers be? Would they be equivalent crotchet (quarter note I believe) or still three quavers (three eighth notes)?

I was wondering if someone could help me with some more music theory. Could someone please explain to me the ascending and descending form of a minor scale? The only things I know is that in a melodic scale has a few different notes coming down and going up (I think).

Next up is Triplets. I really do not understand triplets that much, so any explanation to them also would be good.

My first PC had custom everything. Custom lights, custom fans etcetera…

Having owned a Mac, and purchasing an iMac at the end of the year… I prefer Mac.

The UK is becoming quite expensive… for £31 (~$50), I could get:

• A PC Game (New XBOX 360 & PS3 Games are more expensive than that)
• 1/4 of a weekly shopping
• 4 Movie Tickets
• 9 Medium French Fries, Plain Hamburger & a Water from McDonalds

I don’t know how Apple work their prices out for items, I’ve worked out the exchange rate and added VAT , but it comes nowhere near to the price they charge.

I’m dreading the VAT increase come January 4th… an iPhone 4 (currently £499) will be something like £550. That’s like $800.

I decided to get my iMac this year because I don’t want to may something like £3,600 for a computer.

I don’t particularly see the point to be honest — you aren’t revealing your actual location (just your country), achievements throughout the marketplaces and expressing your love for badges.

The only thing that this would be useful for is the sales amount — some authors are more open about their sales (heck, the marketplaces even have a page for top sellers). Some unruly people may see the sales volume and then further try to hack their account, which is a privacy concern.

Luckily, I’ve known nobody to have their earnings hacked into and withdrawn. Secure passwords is all.
