The main file is a zip containing your item (the file that will be downloaded by customers) and the thumbnail is a 80*80 image like the ones you see on the home page. I’ve never uploaded an Android app but I believe that it’s the same as for any other type of file.

This is more for IE but until now the only tool that I’ve found to be accurate was VMware player (or any virtual machine). I have 3 separate installations of Windows XP/7 and I can know for sure how it looks under IE7, 8 and 9 :)
