Easy to fix Just give your image a border=”0” attribute and it’ll hide the borders in IE.

In the future I will definitely make my clients pay 50% in advance and maybe sign a contract or something. I did contract support, but I doubt that they’re willing to help me. I will continue sending emails to the client even though I don’t think it’ll do any good.

Sometimes I just don’t get people. I mean, it’s only $250, why wouldn’t you pay that. This person is a freelancer himself for crying out loud, so he must have had this problem himself and know that it’s really not cool to ignore someone you hired. He actually asked me if he had to pay me 50% in advance, but I refused (you idiot!!) out of pure kindness. Also, I wasn’t sure yet if I could do what he wanted ‘cuz he was kinda unclear about what he wanted. His English was very poor.

Well, I think I learned my lesson. Never ever ever accept a project without some kind of leverage. I checked out the client before the work, but I couldn’t find anything indicating that this client was untrustworthy.

I have been freelancing for quite a while now, but I recently did some work for a client and he still hasn’t paid me :/. He hasn’t been responding to my emails ever since I finished the project, sent it to him and told me that it all worked fine. This was a month ago.

This person has bought 10 to 49 items on this markerplace, but he’s not an author. He also has a website where he claims that he’s a freelance web designer. I have no contract, because it was only a small project (about $250). I only have his email, name, skype (he probably blocked me), website, and his address (which might not be real)

What should I do? Can I contact Envato, because this person has bought numerous products on the marketplace?

What you can also do is add another column in your database table called last_ip. If a person then clicks the button, the php script will check if the last_ip matches your ip. If it doesn’t match, then it’ll increment the value by 1 and then store your ip in last_ip. If it does match, then it won’t increment the value.

This solves the problem of people clicking the button more than once
