Hey dear VH, GR, PD reviewer teams… and all the visual media producers…

Not any complaining, but A REQUEST FEEDBACK…

Here is my current issue, that is important for many current best-sellers of the Envato markets… My recent motion graphic package with a set of 120 animated ‘social media’ icons has been 3 X rejected (yet ‘soft’) due the used generic icons of the Aim, Amazon, LinkedIn, Skype and Yahoo buzz… As it was said, ‘the following logos are not considered social’ and ‘considered copyrighted corporate identities’… Though these were the not official brand logos, but my inspector’s words seemed to me as a fair advice, and I wouldn’t mind to replace any of the icons to meet the Envato rules… The rules are the rules… when they are the rules for everyone… But I just checked what icons are selling on Envato, and I’ve found these and many other ‘suspected’ icons and logos like ‘AppStore’ and… WOW… ‘GraphicRiver’… smoothly inspected and perfectly selling on GraphicRiver long time…

1/ PUBLICIZE A LIST OF THE SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS ALLOWED FOR THE MEDIA PRODUCERS…

2/ EQUALLY ENFORCE ALL THE MEDIA PRODUCERS TO FOLLOW ALL THE RESTRICTIONS…

3/ CLARIFY, IF WE ARE ALLOWED TO MODIFY AND RESELL LOGOS OF THE ENVATO MARKETS…

4/ AND PLEASE EXPLAIN, WHY ANY ‘BRAND LOGOS’ ARE ALLOWED FOR THE 3DOCEAN MARKET…

Plus $5 for the AE, C4D , Motion projects and Motion graphics/ Live footage ’’packs’’ would be reasonable… General motion graphic and creative live footage “clips” are OK as it is now… May be fair to get minus $3 for a lot of very basic live footage shots now ’’overpriced’’ as $5 that is often higher than some complex animations or mentioned ’’timelapses’’ just confusing the buyers IMHO …

C’mon, Cyzer, you’re really brave and fairly right…

With all my sincere respect to our dear hyper-skillful, super-powerful, nowadays magically anonymous and absolutely untouchable inquisitors… It’s not a ‘mutiny’, but a shame, if we should mostly just get ‘congrats’ fun on this forum, while get ‘muted’ on some rare ‘bad business’ situations on the marketplaces… That would be really strange and dangerous IMHO …

BTW there is a lot of US and international retro cartoon, documentary and fiction footage and movies on the ‘archive.org’ with the officially finished copyrights and legally allowed also for the commercial redistribution as well… Some are of broadcast professional quality and much more interesting and useful than these ‘link removed’ ones… May be indeed we should stop to waste our time with our motion graphics and templates, and start to render daily and nightly these vintage SD masterpieces to semi-HD and upload on VH as the ‘most wanted’?

Hey Andre… Hush… C’mon… Don’t listen all these kidding outsiders and your provoking bee… The only real secret trick is to upload something every day around the year… Just prepare 364 files more ASAP to start your attack at Halloween night, and you’ll get the win for sure!
