I had a nightmare last night that millions of mutating club flyers were coming to take over the world.

In the past weeks, I’ve been trying to upload some items. However I keep getting the same error.
Please review the following issues that occurred: Thumbnail is required Thumbnail Unsupported filetype: for file ‘xxxxxxxx’
I’ve checked and rechecked, the size is 80×80, jpg (or png). Ive tried renaming, resaving etc etc…and nothing works.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the responses folks.
I usually average about 20-22 sales a month… but only have 4 sales for this month. Hopefully it will pick up again after the holidays.

I’ve seen a noticeable drop in sales this month. Anyone else?

I do believe this issues has been brought up before..but nothing seems to have been resolved much less addressed.
Was browsing through the various tutsplus sites…and noticed advertising for a rival stock images website. While on one hand, I question the wisdom of this move, considering Envato’s numerious stock sites. One the other hand I understand the need to create profit.
Having said that….. can someone please explain to me why there is NO ADVERTISING for graphic river or any of the other stock sites on the various other sites that Envato owns? I dont want to sound to harsh here…but its a bit of slap in the face to the Authors (especially the ones who have taken the risk to become exclusive) here that the company we are trying to make money for (in addition to ourselves) is sending traffic to a rivel site and making no attempt to advertise and send traffic to the sites they own and where we have content.
Sorry to sound a little harsh…I just don’t understand the reasoning.

Not sure… but why would you link to a major competitors site?

You should consider understanding the difference between various graphic elements and also should take note about how this industry works on the web. First, there are a HELL LOT OF marketplaces in relation to vector market all across the web. They are quite successful, more successful than GR. Their quality in vectors is very high and they have a huge number of buyers. This makes us believe that there will be particularly very less one time and below average number of regular buyers of vectors at Envato. If you see closely, most of the authors who just sell vectors here are non exclusive because they know vectors do not have a big market here.
Secondly why are we discussing this thing? It’s another topic. If you want to discuss about it, you can always create new topic. But anyways, in order to answer you, illustrations and styles are two different things. They cannot be matched. Both have different purposes. Just like actions, styles, presentations, backgrounds, textures and so on have different purposes. Each have their own peculiarity and their sales stats.
Raincutter.. a few points to consider:
Yes..there are quite a few marketplaces out there that sell vectors. But are you really saying that part of the pricing structure that Evato employs is related to what competitors are doing? By that rational, there are a ton of sites, thousands in fact, that offer free actions and styles. Does the pricing of actions here reflect that fact?
Having said that, at the end of the day.. actions here, for whatever reason, sell. End of story.

No need to be brash Dzinc. I’m simply clarifying here. If I am going to spend a portion of my marketing efforts on Adobe Exchange as you are suggesting i want to get a better picture of the results i may expect. Time is money as they say.
I asked again because just because you aren’t actively marketing on other sites, doesn’t mean your past marketing efforts don’t live on somewhere out there in cyberland and may or may not be generating traffic. Also, your traffic sources may have changed since I last asked the question.
I apologize if my questions seem annoying to you. I’m not calling you out if that what you think. My initial question came as a result of not knowing about envato’s analytics tool…even after reading through and starting numerous posts asking about stats. The first I heard of it was this post.
I’m actually excited about this. Your findings so far show that the Exchange has the target market we are looking for…at least for brochure templates.
