I agree that third color in ribbons is a little bit over done, and is subject to change. It’s against the rules to re-submit without major changes, so i’m afraid i can’t do that, but this thread could be change, i just wanted to say, that there is something in every design, and is it shiny or isn’t every designer puts something of himself in their work, which is why it feels a bit wrong for me to hear that reviewer puts hand over vintage and retro style.

Hello, i’m not really used of creating threads, but this time i wanted to ask for your opinion. The situation is following:

About week ago i submited badge design for graphicriver, which i admit wasn’t the best i could do, but it took around 6 – 7 days for reviewer to decide, it was put on hold, i assume because he needed second opinion. At the end i recived result on my email, saying that i should better try make these badges into retro or vintage style. I’m sorry, but i’m tired to see vintage and retro style on badge section (My opinion). My speciallity is doing fancy style design (Making design for fancy design games), which results my work in this style as well. So here is the question, would you rather want to see retro / vintage style badges or fancy type badges. This question is bothering me right now. The badges are subject to change since they are right now hidden, but i provided the preview of submited file, so it’s easier for you to choose which opinion do you agree. Thank you in advice.

Making these badges i came upon the idea, that these could more likely be some kind of achievement badges. For example on envato there are “Paws” which indicates you sale amount, it’s nearly the same style.
