Well the problem is that dev is falling behind, and I still am 100% behind my statement that marketing should not lead. Secondly, we don’t get any real answers.
Not True. If you remember, a year ago, there was lots of down times. I think devs focused on actually running the markets and scaling them (2.12m is an insane number). They have limited time like all humans, and maybe the dev team didn’t grow in number proportionally.
I agree, though, that the support and answers are very bad and something need to be done about them (especially support)

The official response

(just joking)
@Anps No, it’s right to focus on marketing. I think most authors will be fine with the current market functionality if Envato brings the buyer. Heck, that’s why they are sticking to this place.

@thecodingdude
You are underestimating how much development takes. If you have worked on a big project (not even big, just a medium sized one), running the project (with no new features/whatsoever) actually has costs.
@angry_authors
If all authors sales drop during the bundle, Envato will be losing money. I got a boost of sales during the bundle, but the top bar bothered me. It just feels spammy, and that’s why, I believe, many people are upset about it.
My personal observation: Growth during this year in ThemeForest was slow (buyers) comparing to last years. However, there are more new authors and established authors publishes even more themes. It’s harder to sell now. A great theme used to make it big. I think, the golden days are gone.

Perhaps ThemeForest is too strongly associated with WordPress?This situation is the buyer’s fault, but Envato’s problem. Everyone is responsible for their own knowledge. It’s not the kindest truth, but I don’t think putting “Not WordPress compatible” tags on everything is the solution.
That only perpetrates the WordPress-centricity of ThemeForest.I hear what you’re saying. Maybe this is why the “new member” videos would work best. Because if an author sells Joomla plugins, they probably don’t want to draw attention to WP in any way.
The video idea would take some work but I think it could pay off in the long run because it could cover so many things that would be important to a new buyer.
I guess they won’t watch it. Just a guess.

Yes, their support response time can be arbitrary, but it’s still good comparing to other payment options (like PayPal).

So I don’t think they copied him. I mean, come on, make a theme in 4 days? And then, maybe both of them were inspired by some other theme.

Different headers, and menus. Different colors (They are not the same orange). Different footers (Sensational has got a full footer block). Different sidebars. Different fonts. Sensational is responsive, yours is not.
I don’t think they have copied you (and the CSS code is different too), maybe they were inspired by your theme (although it can happen they did never see it).

I sent a DMCA take down ticket (KRW-815-68766); how much time does that take?
