Funny fact about that page: that article has 90 votes and the rate is 0.5 stars from 5, meaning that is not that usefull for some reason

Most often people upload the wrong zip – the one that they get from download. You will need to look for the theme file inside the zip downloaded from envato.

That message from the first image is also visible if you didn’t added corectly the swfObject js script. Because that one is responsable to replace that message with Flash content.
Press F12 in that browser then go to javascript tab and click “Start Debugging”.. There you will see what errors your page has, if any.
