What’s up everybody,

I’m thinking about buying the Adobe design standard CS6 bundle but before I do I want to ask those that use CS6 already is it worth the jump or is there not much difference compared to CS5 . Would be appreciated if anyone could share their views.

CS6 has been one of the best buys I’ve made. I had been using CS4 since it came out and it was a really, really great upgrade.

If you have the cash, do it. You won’t regret it.

Is it the student and teacher edition? I’m thinking of getting that.

@ramijames Yeah I’ve been watching a few video reviews about it but it wasn’t enough, I wanted to know directly from designers on here what they thought about it if they was using it. Sounds great though and it looks cool man so I think I’ll get it :)

I’d do it – the performance is much much better with the mercury engine. There are also some great new tools!

The CS6 is much better than the other editions, Cause they add a lot of references and benefits on it, And plus… He has a perfect dark design. So u can just buy it :)

^ It can be used for commercial purposes but there are some other restrictions: http://prodesigntools.com/difference-between-adobe-cs5-student-editions-vs-regular.html

I agree, it’s been a very good upgrade. They seem to have straightened everything out, new UI looks great, everything feels solid, and like JRChild some cool new tools. I was on CS3 so it’s like I’ve moved into the future!
