OK, I don’t know if it’s me but, I think its the same as the previous Flash version.Only now when I go to Fox News website it crashes on latest version of Chrome (not that I watch fox news, but I usually like getting a good laugh at them :D ). I guess some of the video players have a security issue with the new Flash 10.1 + Chrome. It works fine on latest version of Firefox and IE8 . This might of been Adobe’s last chance to show the world that Flash is a clean and open platform. I think they rushed this one. I hope some reviews come in so we know what’s going on exactly.

10.1 is such a major overhaul, I’d be really disappointed if they released just to patch that security threat. And it feels like this is what happened.

I just found out that the 10.1 update also installs a patch for “critical” Flash vulnerability issue. The update naturally covers Windows, Mac and Linux users (and even Solaris, for that matter), and is recommended for anyone running Flash Player 10.0.45.2 or earlier. Adobe AIR users are also advised to upgrade to the latest version released today but, Adobe Acrobat and Reader users will still have to wait a bit for their fix—while they’re also affected by the vulnerability, they won’t be getting an update until the end of the month.
