My first entry 
I don’t really have an example logo but perhaps this helps: an allegory is some sort of symbol to illustrate an abstract issue. If – for example – you want to create a logo for a lawyer, justitia (the roman goddess with the balance in her hand) would be an appropriate allegory symbolizing justice.

Ahhhh yeah, i remember some long time ago i had to make something like this to. Type “steampunk logo” in google and you will find your examples for what you need ,it sems you made this thread 11 days ago but i hope this helps even now. XD
