Just curious, is there any SEO impact, good or bad, for having domains that are unused simply forwarding to my main domain?
For example, I own domain.com and I purchased domain.co.uk to prevent others from buying it.
If domain.co.uk forwards to domain.com – will Google penalise me for doing so, or is it ok?

I recently did this for a client, and from my research I found as long as you do a 301 redirect it should not affect your SEO .
