It’s hard to believe that GraphicRiver opened its doors one year ago. It’s been a long road since then, and along the way it’s been a pleasure to encounter talented new authors, fantastic files, and great new friends! To celebrate GraphicRiver’s first birthday, we want to see the very best that GraphicRiver has to offer. In past competitions, we’ve culled the finest graphic specimens from the herd. We’ve covered the best icon sets, the best design templates, graphics, textures, and vectors. We’ve had the best picked by our review team, the Site Manager, and by the entire community.
Now it’s time to celebrate the best…of the best! We’re looking for the top collections showcasing the best files that GraphicRiver has to offer. and we’re giving away our biggest prize ever…a fantastic “freelance earner pack” worth over $4300 in prizes!

The Details
To be eligible, simply create a collection of files showcasing the BEST files on GraphicRiver—this can be the best business card templates, the best icons for websites, the best Twitter backgrounds, best web elements, best character vectors…the possibilities are endless! Don’t forget to give it an eye-catching image, a snazzy description, and make it viewable to the public.
Once you’ve created your amazing collection, you’re done! Any collections fitting the “Best of…” theme created between February 17th (today) and February 26th will be considered. Be sure your collection has an image and description!
- Collections must be submitted for consideration before 11:59PM February 26th (EST).
- Collection must fulfill the “Best of…” theme to be eligible for the competition. Users are encouraged to be creative: best of a category, use, inspirational theme, type of file, etc…surprise us!
- Collections must be publicly viewable and include an appropriate collection image and text description.
- At the end of the competition (February 26th), users will have one week to rate their favorite collections using the marketplace star rating system. The collections with the highest star rating will be awarded prizes.

Announcement of Winners
The winners will be announced here on the blog, during the week of March 8th (approximately one week after the close of competition, to allow for voting). Winners will also be contacted via email to arrange for collection of the prizes.FAQs
Can I enter more than once? Yes, you can enter as many times as you like with each public collection counting as an entry.
Can I put files from different marketplaces into one collection? Yes, you’re absolutely allowed to include files that compliment the theme. However, note that because this is a GraphicRiver-sponsored competition, we’re looking for collections that highlight the graphic work of our authors.
Do I need to be a member of the marketplaces to enter? Yes you do. You have to be a member to create a collection, but joining the Envato marketplaces is completely free and only takes 30 seconds.
Can I include my own files in my entered collection? Yes you can! You can include any files you think fit the theme – whether they’re yours or not! In fact, this is a great time to upload that extra-special file you’ve been saving to get exposure in this competition!
How do I enter my collection into the competition? Just create an award-worthy collection before the deadline and you’re entered! See the details above for collection criteria.
When does the competition close? You need to create your collection before February 26th, 11:59pm Eastern Standard time to be considered. Remember to make sure your collection is publicly viewable so we can see it, too!
Rules
The rules are as follows:- Envato staff and reviewers are not eligible to compete
- Collections must be publicly viewable and created no later than 11:59PM February 26th (EST), to be eligible or consideration.
- Judging will take place at the end of competition. Featured finalists will be posted to the GraphicRiver tumblog, to allow time for users to choose their favorite collections using the marketplace star rating system. The eligible collection with the highest rating at the end of the voting period (one week) will be declared winner.
- In the event of a tie, final winners will be selected by the Site Manager and Marketplace Director.
- Users can enter as many collections as they like.
- All decisions are final.
- Collections that are taken down for any reason are not eligible to be counted.
- Any user found maliciously tampering with vote results or using malicious techniques to increase their rating will be ineligible to win and ineligible for future competitions.
- The collection must stay publicly viewable on GraphicRiver for at least 6 months after launch.
- Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed or exchanged.
