Quick question about a recent rejection.

Uploaded a business card template with full bleed. Size of the file was 2.25”x2.75..which would mean the final printed piece would be 2”x3.5 once cut. Also…I used uprinting.com’s template to prepare the file…which I always use for client work.

One of the reasons the reviewer gave for rejection was the size was not correct for a business card. Did I miss something? For business cards using a full bleed….what size does GR accept?

Thanks in advance.

2.25”x2.75..

That particularly is the answer to your question. It should be 2.25”x3.75”. Or is that a typo?

I had my business cards accepted with that size. 0.125in for bleed and extra 0.125in. as a safeguard for text.

Edit: Or maybe in the dimension field of the item you could have entered 2.25×3.75in instead of 2×3.5in.

The standard for business cards is 3.5×2,, so if you’re using the Uprinting template you shouldn’t have had any problems with the size. Please contact Support (respond to the rejection e-mail) and either the reviewer or myself will be glad to get you more feedback and help you out. :)
