This month, our competition focuses on a very special contingent of our community—our buyers and what they do with our files!
One of the amazing things about our authors is they turn out some really amazing, versatile files that have endless possibilities in use. Have a file you love? Used a GraphicRiver file in something special lately? We want to know about it! Show us your best use of a GraphicRiver file and we’ll be handing out prizes to the coolest entries! And what’s more, the author of the winning file will win promotion and a prize too!
The CompetitionWe are looking for examples of how you have used files purchased here at GraphicRiver. Used icons in a web site design? Textures in a graphic? Isolated object in a layout? Font in a business card? Illustration in a flash animation? We want to see it! Your use of any file purchased at GraphicRiver, past or present, is eligible. Don’t have a file to use? Now’s a great time to grab that awesome asset you’ve had your eyes on and whip up something creative!
How to EnterTo enter, please post to this forum thread with an image or link to an example of how you used a item off GraphicRiver between now and midnight, July 23rd, 2010 (U.S. Central time). Please also include a link to the GraphicRiver file. If you have a story about how you used it or how it worked out for you, we’ll love to hear it! Please see the rules below for entry content and use.
Note: For the purposes of this contest and in this thread ONLY , we’re suspending the moderation rules about links. However, spammy or off-topic links will still be moderated appropriately.

Yay! A new competition. Too bad I can’t take part in it. But I’m sure this will be one of the coolest comp of GR. We’ll get to know more about where the buyers use our files and hopefully I’ll see one of my files here too. Thanks for the info Amanda.
Hey! Checkout the page I made as a Print-Ready Checklist for designers to use when submitting a file for Printing at www.mmprint.com:
Also made 3 landing pages for Digital Printing, Printing for Non-Profit Organizations, and Printing for Churches
I used the following files from graphicriver.net
http://graphicriver.net/item/50-cool-matte-icons/37836 (camera and recycle icons)
I purchased these in the 2009 Birthday Bundle.
Birthday Bundles Rock!
Cool competition, it will be really interesting to see GR files in use. Also, edited the fine print – think this makes more sense:
To be eligible to win, staff will verify that entries have purchased a LEGAL version of the GraphicRiver file by GraphicRiver user account. If staff can not verify legal purchase, entry will be ineligible to win, publically shamed, banned from the community and then attacked by penguins.
can we submit more than one entry ?

We made this very simple cover for someone of our team. He had to use it for a project. The only thing what the customer said was that it had to be simple. Well, it is. Feestproject is Dutch for ‘Party Project’. We had to find a perfect image of a balloon and it was very difficult to make by ourself because we don’t have the skills to make something like a balloon. We found it at GraphicRiver and also the Letterpress was very handy to use. So, we bought both
Guys this is GR only. AJ items don’t count.
