Do you know the GREP in InDesign and do you need it ?

First of all, i want to thanks the Graphicriver community, I’ve passed the 170 sales this week and I appreciate the quality of items proposed day by day!

I’m just asking myself about the utility — or not — to offer InDesign GREP style.

I explain: one of my item (no link – no self-promotion ;-)) is a InDesign addons who detect automatically HTML and CSS code in a InDesign document and style it instantly.

At this day, I’ve no selling this item. Nonetheless I think that it could be useful.

Do you think is too technical? Or may be not appropriate?

It sounds like a really interesting, I didn’t even know something like that was possible! But I use InDesign everyday and I’m trying to work out what exactly I would use it for.

Could you give some possible uses?

Ok just looked at the item and it looks really powerful, but you’re description leaves me a bit confused. I’ve never heard of grep, and even after reading the description, I’m still not sure what I do with the item. Is it for digital publishing?

So you make a print document and it will automatically make a HTML version of the document? Or does it format text like its in dreamweaver (or any other HTML text editor of your choice?)
