I was wondering if an item has been posted to the website under an exclusive author and the file hasn’t sold. Can the author take the file off the website and sell some place else without loosing their exclusive author status?
- Microlancer Beta Tester
- Exclusive Author
- Envato Staff
- Support Staff
- Sold between 10 000 and 50 000 dollars
- Author was Featured
- Attended a Community Meetup
- Canada
- Bought between 50 and 99 items
Of course.
Being an exclusive author means that any items you sell on an Envato Marketplace are unique to our libraries.
That means you can sell other items elsewhere, but not the same ones. This helps keep the sites healthy and unique, and ensures buyers aren’t just browsing through items they could get anywhere.
That I understand. I think you misunderstood the question. If it is removed and no longer sold here can it then be sold some place else?
I know not to sell items from here elsewhere.
If you aren’t selling something on GraphicRiver… how is it unique to the marketplace?

Anything that you aren’t selling on GraphicRiver can be sold elsewhere. It doesn’t matter if it was sold on GraphicRiver in the past. If you take an item off you can do whatever you want with it because its 100% your item again.
