Hey Guys,

First time poster – love the site, but I bought a resume template and tried opening it with CS5 and Photoshop says that the file isn’t “the right kind of document”.

Am I missing something, or is there something wrong on my end of things? I’m hoping to polish up my resume tonight – but for the past 2 hours I’ve been struggling just to get things rolling.

If anybody could please help me out it’d be greatly appreciated :)

Look at the Product and see what is the Minimum Adobe CS Version. or contact the author on their profile page.

Are you sure there is not a .psd file in the file? If not you should contact the author, and have them send you a .psd because a .DS_Store file probably won’t work with photoshop.

Thanks for the quick reply. Minimum says CS3 http://graphicriver.net/item/clean-resumecv/222797

I guess I’m confused just because this is my first time ever downloading from here – and it seems the file I liked turned out to be a dud. :(

I see the problem :( It is an indesign template. Are you sure that can be opened with photoshop? I have not worked with indesign before, but it’s not a psd from what I can tell.

GREAT EYE ! – I don’t have indesign loaded on my computer but I guess Ill try doing the 30 trial just so I can knock out this resume once and for all :).
