Envato authors VS Regularly employed people

It came across my mind today that we, authors on Envato marketplaces, have one very important difference from the other people who have regular day job: they can’t wait for weekend to come, yet we hate weekends because of small amount of sales during weekends

How about you, did you happen to notice any other difference in this “duel”?

Envato Authors have to do their own tax.

Envato authors have more time to spend with their loved ones.

I find the biggest challenge is to keep a normal sleep cycle like regular employed people

To be honest, both sides have their own share of pros and cons. I’ve worked in big MNCs. But one thing’s for sure I Hate Bosses. Sometimes getting blamed for mistakes I’ve haven’t committed, made me feel like punching my superiors in the face. In the end I realized that I was not cut out for day jobs. Such is my story.

At the moment im only work here. It’s difficult because the income is far more less than i would be a regular Art Director or even a designer in a company. But the truth is that, some company could really take advantage on their employees (unpaid taxes, unpaid hours, or even weekends as well) And when you exhausted they can easily replace you with a piece of “fresh meat”. I think if somebody put here a good portfolio and already have a monthly PASSIVE ! income its could be a perfect extra even if later you get a very good regular job. At least, and until you dont need to accept every kind of monkey jobs. And if you are good, you will be good here as well. Its a quiet good feedback for yourself as well.

I decided to stop from where I worked previously as an employee, because here I produce my pay 4x as much better than before.

Although I am just starting out here, I’m sure will be a great potential for my life and my little family. So I decided to quit.

Here you get the results that are sometimes up and sometimes down, I take that risk! but as a regular employee, every month you will receive the same salary plus a little bonus (that is if you’re doing a good job).

So? depending on your choice!
