This is so confusing…
I want to record a drop shadow and record the ACTUAL settings, but nope… doesn’t do it.

I am definitely not interested in making Illustrator actions, but I am just designing another “Wanted” poster, the sequel to the one used in this ad! It will be even better than one of my best selling items, used here…

That’s right. You can put menu items into actions, but when you replay them the user/you has to manually put in the settings for the effect or whatever. For Graphic River purposes, this would not really make them fully automated. So you are limited in what you can achieve with an Action in that sense.
The other option is to have a dropshadow style in your styles palette and record selecting it in the action, but that would mean you would need to supply the style (and instructions on how to load and use both the style and the action) into your submission. Possibly too complicated for the end user?

Yeah my point exactly! Making this pretty useless! The only way I can see this being done is creating some sort of actual script which hooks into illustrator. Lot’s of learning IMO .
Can someone clarify this?
Great! This most wanted seems to be a good oportunity for me to get some bounty…
I’ll probably have a go!
Format your entry with some basic HTML . Read the Full Details, or here is a refresher:
to make things bold
to emphasize
or
to make headings
for code blocks
for a few words of code
<a></a> for links
<img /> to paste in an image (it'll need to be hosted somewhere else though)
<blockquote /> to quote somebody</h4></h3></li></ol></li></ul>

Hem… I’m quite confused because on the form I see “THIS FORM MUST ONLY BE COMPLETED ONCE YOUR FIRST ENTRY HAS BEEN APPROVED ON OUR MARKETPLACE .”
??? What should I do?

Hey guys, it really does not matter if the form is signed before or after as it amounts to the same thing. But I can see that it would be better to be consistent so I’ve update the announcement to make it consistent. Make sure you complete the authorization form ONCE your item(s) are APPROVED . Thanks!
