Would love to see some designs to have a better understanding of what might be required. I can’t believe the category is still empty??

There have been quite a few submissions already, they’re just being held right now until prices and requirements are established behind the scenes. See my previous post for more info, thanks for your patience.

back in the day when i was working in ad agency i usually made the billboard and any bigger projects in scale 1:10 in 300dpi. example: for billboard 5 meters by 2 meters you make the project files in 50cm by 20cm 300dpi and when you print it it looks very good.
you`re more than welcome
Hi there I work in a signage company in South Africa, signage here is lightboxes, posters, vehicle graphics, building billboards and more .. with regards to vehicle graphics, what here is considered, is it the graphic upon a vehicle like if you did tribal etc ? do you use a set template, do you supply a logo or do you just say put a logo here ? do we supplied traced vehicles ? or do we supply images of vehicle just with the decals on. We dont use photoshop here at all for signage as its vector based and we work with the settings @ 300dpi

I was a little bit lost at the beginning, but I think this is the hint:

I am afraid it is not working like that, cause in print phase, they have to reduce your dpi to gain the right size for print, according to your based 300DPI file the final dpi would be divided by 10 and it,s 30DPI, Less than a standard resolution required for a quality print. changing the size of a document is not a good idea, and makes a lot of trouble dealing with big projects. DPI is the solution.
Printers, Platsetters(lithography), Cutter plotters, plotters, proof printers and all the output devices require a 1:1 scale document for the final result.

That’s it, listen iZZY!
That’s right iZZYMedia. If you want final result 1:1, maybe you need supercomputer. This is tips for Ads Designer : http://jayce-o.blogspot.com/2011/11/designing-banners-billboard-ads-posters.html
