No, not at all. If we all waited around for the new version of anything to materialize, whether hardware or software, then instead of addressing the current version we’d perpetually be waiting forever and nothing would ever get done. Hope that makes sense.

Naw, WP is stronger than ever, we just want to spread the love! Speaking for myself, I am a big fan of Joomla and since it’s code upgrade and all that has come with the latest few releases, believe it is truly one of the best CMS options out there.

Currently Joomla has a wealth of subscription based shops out there to choose from but not nearly as many options to simply buy one off templates as needed. Hopefully a Joomla stocked ThemeForest can help out in this area

Unless I missed it somewhere, when I submit my Joomla template(s), does this mean it’s automatically entered into this contest, or is there something I need to make the request on upload/submit?

Here’s what you need to do to be eligible:

• Submit your Joomla template or plugin and get it approved.
• You MUST sign and agree to keep any WINNING entries online for a minimum of 2 years: http://www.formstack.com/forms/envato-envatos_most_wanted_entry_agreement See form for full details. This form MUST be completed once your item has been APPROVED on ThemeForest and/or CodeCanyon if you wish your item(s) to be eligible for Envato’s Most Wanted

Please change “plugin” to “extension” as it would be the correct wordings to use in Joomla! context if you want plugins, modules and components alike to be submitted.
