First theme and need feedback

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to make a new idea and a new layout for a theme, I hope to get the whole feedback as I’m going to sell it here in themeforest. It is a wordpress theme, till now it is just the layout design, here you can see the layout as images, home and about us pages:

open the images in new tabs, to view it in the original size.

Yes this might actually be accepted as a psd.

My only gripe is the typography.

Well, to be honest, it’s more of a personal choice rather than anything else.

I would simply change the font to something else, maybe ‘Droid sans’...

BUT , I reckon if you submitted it just as it is, it might get the green light and reviewer will give better clues as to how to get it approved.

the design is nice but i think you going into wrong direction. First, the concept – again and again people do the same thing: ordinary header, slider, 4 columns of teasers, 3 column of other content and 3 columns footer. This is already done so many times. Read the forum (and believe my experience – i got a lot of rejected templates before), there are a lot of people get rejected because of ordinary concept, no matter how quality the design is. Why not to do something unique, it is more fun and much easier to get accepted.

The second, i recommend you to do the HTML template first, and only then the WP theme. You will save a lot of time on improvements editing a HTML template in case of rejection (which is in my opinion very-very possible).

Thanks for your feedback, and will try to do my best in it. I may introduce it in PSD firstly, then get the themeforest members reply’s in to suggest if I will do an HTML version for it or no.

Any way I guess there are alot of files that maybe got acceptance with also 4 and 3 columns in the content, but I will try to make it as unique as I can.

To be honest, I’m not quite sure about this design .. I’ll try to be descreptive as much as I can..

First, the spacing isn’t consistent -

Each color represent different width of pixels, and the design seems a bit ‘agressive’, if that’s the correct word to describe it .. Also, I think that if you’re using a large icons/images, you should consider enlarge the space between the elements..

There are a few more problems
