I noticed a number of requests for a forum module for this excellent template. I recently customized louros’ Flash Forum V2 to be a functionally and visually compatible module for the XML Template V3, and to add an XML image rotator to the form header.

You can see it in action on FlawlessRides.com (follow the “TUNERS FORUM ” link) :)

If anyone needs a similar customization doing I’m available :) (you’d need to purchase both the V3 template and the forum first of course)

I did …and I wrote louros, and received no reply from either. I did however make a point of not responding to requests for a forum module in their discussion threads.

Apart from which Triworks advertise their template as being made for adding third party modules and even post links to non-Triworks collections on Flashden on the V3 page.

Your Forum section is great. On another note did you notice how you can’t really use the gallery very comfortably. There are so many photos that the scrolling goes crazy and it’s very hard to stop on a thumb. If you would like to view the complete photo you have to contend with being completely lost when you go back to the thumb panel.

You never know how something is going to work until you load it up and try it I guess. BTW I have bought that file.

Hi theflyingtinman;

In advance you may want to know that a flash forum is being developed by triworks, and future changes or upgrades to full XML website V3 may result in incompatible integration of third party files. In the future we might be contacted by users asking for support in versions where you have integrated the forum and we won’t be responsible for any code changes.

Since you brought this to the forum it is also important to note that sellers expect to support their buyers when selling a file. It is not of our interest to see someone advertize services about integrating or customizing files from other sellers. If a buyer needs change V3 to its needs he can just send us an email asking for a quote. I guess the same happens with all other sellers.

If you want to sell a forum on a template, or do some kind of customization service you may want to create your own files and guarantee the upgrades, changes and other support requests.
