Free WordPress Theme for Cake Online SHop

Dear Friends,

I need help. I wonder if you guys know the link of free wordpress theme for my cake online shop. About 6 months ago, i asked a friend from another country to help me make a nice cake online shop. I noticed tha this guy use word press. For your information i am not an IT expert so I dont find it easy to maintain the website that guy made for me, anyway, i understood one by one the step in changing thing out. Unfortunately, i still have to make my website looks more attractieve of nicely by the time other people visit my cake online shop. I asked the guy many times to make some changes but unfortunately this guy just dissapered, no reply on my emails, no answered at all.

I really started to get panic. I just wanted to ask you if it is better for me to just change the whole theme with another one.

That is why i need help for you who probably know any link for free wordpress theme for my homemade cakes. I make all kinds of cake for all occasions. I dont need a website where people could order directly from the website of something like that. People usually send emails.

Do you have a URL for your website?

The thing is that if you go with a new template that does not automatically mean that you also get support in managing it. There are many great WordPress themes available over at Themeforest. But most support is to do with bugs and tech related problems, not with actually managing your website.

So if you’re having trouble managing your WordPress theme it is likely that you will have the same trouble with another, new, WordPress theme.

If there are any themes on ThemeForest would you like, it may be a good idea to ask the author of the theme whether he/she provides site maintenance support.

Or you should find an IT savvy person who can help you maintain your website. There is a good chance you may find someone to help you maintain your website over at Theme Forest for a fair price.

I just thought to try installing a new theme on another wordpress account, and if i already manage things out properly, then i could do it as well at my officiall cake website. Sounds good? I just have to think up something, cause i need to move with this “stuck” website. ANd til then, i can’t create any flyers to make any promotion of my cake online shop. Snik snik snik….. and here in the NEtherlands, cost expensive to ask someone to make a website, and i really could not afford it either.

Anyway, iam very thankfull that you replied to my question, and thanks as well for your advise and explaination.

Web designers expensive? Ha, and I always thought we were underpaid! lol

I understand you are saying.

WordPress themes are not so expensive. You can always install another WordPress log in your website in any subdirectory like:

www.maakmijeentaart.com/test

They can play around until you feel you’ve got the hang of it. Then you can Kerry those changes over to the main blog. I always have one testing and one live for my customers … Could save you a lot of work in case you mess up
