Front page question/suggestion

What is that box of items that appears on the top right on the front page? There is no explanation of what those items are. It doesn’t seem to be recent, featured or popular files, because those lists have different items on there. I was just bothered by the fact that they were mostly songs by soundroll (no personal offense but he doesn’t exactly need the publicity here) and there were other authors repeated as well. It looks very monotonous.

I would strongly (yet humbly) suggest that the featured songs go there. That list shows much better artist variety and then those songs would truly be featured.

The list I’m assuming is the list of authors that you follow. When you follow an author, you will receive updates on their newest files via that box. For example, if you follow Soundroll, you will see a new update from him in that box. It’s an easy way to follow people and keep an eye on their new projects as they get uploaded to AJ or VH or which ever marketplace they currently upload to. Hope this helps.

Oh really? That makes my post look rather silly then. That would explain what songs I am seeing there very well. I guess a little title over that section explaining what it is would help. Maybe having featured section there isn’t so important then since the area on the top left often features various songs.

Not a problem. I can see how it could be misleading since it doesn’t really say anything on it. You would have had to see the forums post about it to really understand it all. But hey, we got it all straightened out so we’re all set here
