Fun Facts

Hi, just a little idea I had regarding the Fun Facts area on the Author Dashboard page. I like seeing the info about my last sale, last item approval, sales ranking on GR and across all the marketplaces. The only thing is it’s random, and I only see one fact at a time.

I think from a user/contributor point of view it would be nice (and more interesting) to be able to see them all there at the same time, instead of a single random one.

I like tracking my progress for sales ranking. If I see I’m going up the list I’m inspired to create more items, and if I see I’m moving down then I’m also inspired to create more, and make an effort to drive more sales. It’s a win win scenario for me and Envato, but it’s kind of based on being able to see the info more consistently.

Refreshing the screen all the time to see the rankings isn’t so much of a pain … it just isn’t necessary from a user’s point of view. I think there’s plenty of screen real estate available to have all Fun Facts listed at the same time. And just my 2¢ — if screen real estate is a concern, then I’d ditch the Previous Announcements section — I never look at that (well, hardly ever) as I get all that info from the Forums.

Agree, could be nice to see all these fun facts together somewhere!

Anyway for me is not much yet to see just 1 sale and 9788th for sales across all marketplaces. But still interesting feature to have.
