Hey All!

So I’m a bit new at this. There’s a WP theme that I LOVE the design, but I need the theme in static HTML /CSS.

So how do I do that? I’ve been told that I …..upload the WP theme to a server….create all of the dummy pages I want for the static site with dummy content. Then I just view the source of each page, save the HTML files, and then download the CSS , javascript, and images folders?

I want the end result to basically be a folder containing a static website on my computer where I can launch the index page on my localhost and surf a static site.

Anyone with some step by step tips would be super awesome :)

Thanks!

You already got your step by step tips it seems, why don’t just follow them? You will need to add the proper linking between your files afterwards and check e.g. the image sources of the images that were uploaded through wp-admin before… but other than that – you should be fine.

Yeah I think that’s where my problem is is linking to the files correctly.

But anyway, I’ll give it a shot, thanks so much for your help!
