Lets say I don’t like items which are posted by a specific author. And lets say this author has so many items that it is impossible to open a category and only seeing 4 pages ore more filled with those items. For example category “3D”
SO here is my question: is there a way to exclude authors from search results or deactivate specific authors in my profile.
Cheers MrForScreen
I don’t think this is possible.
an ignore-function like many forums have … no I think something like that is not implemented in this marketplace software
thanks for your comments! Schade – pity
hey this is a great idea… why dont you drop this to support. mail them what you have said here as a feedback. they should keep it on mind while updating the site.

I don’t think so… that they are willing to do so because otherwise the search function would have some type of exclusion in general and personal I don’t like they idea to block user items for ever by adding them into a blacklist on my profile.
But maybe its possible to add a content filter which allow to temporaliy hide some user items in the search results and by browsing a category. So that we are able to hide items by authors.
I don’t know how to do so… to make and quick and easy for both, for user and admins. Maybe by adding a small button on left top corner on the preview image, which bring up a popup—question what to do “hide all items from this author” or “show only items from this author”.

At the moment we have the possibility to follow people. What if we have the possibility to say “Not my type”
which means that this author will not be hiding in the search results or by browsing a category instead those items will be show up always on the end. // That would be a nice solution to stop wasting time by searching for items.
Any successions would be nice
