Ignore them after informing about vocation regardless of they accept it or not (provided you take responsibilities of schedules of project as agreed before). With my personal experience, those clients who doesn’t replies in timely manner are the only ones who expect extreme dedication from the developer/designer. They are not flexible and never deserve our personal sacrifices.
Auto responses are unnecessary if already mailed them about vocation. I assume you don’t have 3+ projects (clients) at a time, if you have that much, I would say you don’t deserve a vocation and committed a lot enough to depress yourself
