Old thread come to life…I should be using something more advanced but I have a large whiteboard by my desk to manage client projects and do my accounting with Quickbooks. I keep manila folders for each client in a file drawer and a separate folder for each in my ‘Website Projects’ folder with all files associated with their sites. I have a hardcover diary in which I keep a separate page per client to record account numbers, log-ins etc. Old fashioned yes but I’m too lazy to look for an easier solution.

MSFX saidWe were not looking for something to create invoices (we use InvoiceMachine for that), but something to keep a track of what payments we have yet to receive, and which we received.
^ what was wrong with FreshBooks?
but with FB you can enter payments against the generated invoices… it’ll also tell you the average number of days it takes for each client to pay you X% and you can create weekly/monthly reports to show who hasn’t paid you yet if you’ve got alot going through the door…

I think we were looking for something simpler.
