(Locked) How Much Time Does it Take To Review Files?

What Is The Average Time Taken By The Reviewer To Review a File and Accept it or reject it? I Uploaded a file about 20 hours ago and it is in progress 1/3. Is it usual for them to take this much time on each upload?

Depends on the file. I skipped your file because I wasn’t too sure about letting it through, I’ll check with the site manager and we’ll figure it out. Icons are not my main specialty, so I generally keep clear of them.

Since the site is still young, I think the dev team need some time to clarify on something. Just be patient and you will get yours up very soon

On any given markeplace site, the approval wait times can vary from a few hours to a few days (used to be weeks at one point on FD). It depends on the volume of submissions, and sometimes submissions need to be checked and verified, like Arik mentions. That can make things take a bit more time, and a submission can appear to be ‘stuck’. That usually gets resolved before too long though.

So the bottom line here is patience is a virtue, just like in the real world

So I have a file in progress and in the column “Progress in Queue” it says “1 out of 3” and keeps on changing. What exactly does that mean?

It means that your file should be next in line to be looked at. The 1 is what you are, and the 3 is how many files are waiting.

For example, if you were say 4/8, there would be three people in front of you, and 4 behind.

I have a question, last week I upload a file and was rejected, the reasons were “disorganized layers. I fix the problem and I upload once again, but still does not appear, since it appends has over 10 new files and mine still does not appear….
