I would appreciate some opinions

I uploaded this business card Side A Side B and got hard rejected. The reason is that is either very simple or they are many similar of this kind. In my humble opinion it’s a simple design (though the sketch is handrawn in HiRes) but also effective for a lawyers business card. Am i judging something wrong?

Secondly i uploaded this business card and got soft reject. Reviewer told me “You need to work over the general design here, considering the concept as it’s a little overly simplistic. Think about the hierarchy and general styling e.t.c”.

To be honest i like it this way and i can’t think something to change. Any suggestions?

You may think the design is great but to me your product is not that appealing of course. That’s one of the problem when you design a black and white business card. Use the internet, search for more reference for B&W business card to improve yours.

envato market place is very demanding, keep up with the crowd and at least you will improve your skills and eventually be part of this group.

I feel that the nitty gritty is:

Both designs submitted are far to generic. Envato have an extremely high quality image to maintain, not only in the quality of work that they offer on the multiple websites, but in the image of driven sales. Without sales, none of this would even be possible.

To generalize, I feel that the submissions are of generic “cheapo” dare I say it? Vistaprint, tasteless quality.

Forgive me if I have offended you in any way, but I’m sure there is a much higher standard that you would work to after comparing these designs with the many others offered in the Print templates category?

Are you the same person that made the videohive presentation files in your portfolio? They look FAR more professional than this item – it’s hard to believe it comes from the same person..
