Any update on this today? How about a workaround for those affected? Unfortunately the suggestion to use a different paypal account does not work for me as I get the same error with both accounts. Clearing cookies & cache as exstortionist suggested above also does not work. Been 5 days now that I haven’t been able to make a purchase…

@antwarfare, @medir, @caraward1 as this is an error with PayPal and isn’t on our side we have to wait until they resolve the issue.
We are still waiting on a response from them and will let you know as soon as we have any news. Thanks again for your patience guys.
Hey guys
Just checking in. I’m looking at this at the technical level, trying to work with PayPal to figure out what the problem is. Not much progress to report over the weekend, but will post any updates as we hear about them.
Some PayPal payments on the Envato site are receiving error messages and preventing users from making purchases. We are currently working with our technical support team to resolve this as a matter of urgency. We will provide another update once this issue has been resolved. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Thanks for the update PayPal_AU – we look forward to hearing about the resolution.
And confirming to all that this really is PayPal not by alter ego.
Just happened to me. :/
Did just get a call from my bank saying they had flagged the payment as fraud. The stated issue was because the transaction was going to Australia. Hope that helps in some way, I’ll try to process the transaction again later. Thanks.
I was trying to buy this theme http://bit.ly/SproutTheme and I got the same error message. I have tried different accounts and cards but the message is same. I am from UK and I am paying in US dollars.
