I had the same issues when buying from my pc, but try from my iphone and was able to purchase the template, so for those who need to buy do it from a mobile, it will work.

This seems to be only an issue on the Theme Forest marketplace. I was able to purchase a plugin through Code Canyon without any hiccups yesterday (Sept. 19, 2012). Most of the authors we’re trying to purchase from have their digital good ONLY listed on Theme Forest. I’ve considered contacting authors offering to do transfers, but would rather go through Theme Forest to be on the safe side.

Is there any way for Envato to take CC info over the phone and send customers the theme, template, plugins, etc. that we wish to get our hands on? It’d be quite the manual process, but it’s a win, win, win situation—Envato gets their cut, authors get their $, and customer gets what he/she wants.

Hi, As an E-commerce website, payment gateway is the most critical part of it. how are you gonna run your business without payment gateway working??!! You should push paypal to fix this as soon as possible! limit them a timeframe! i have been trying for whole week, but same issue still occurring & i can’t buy anything that i need from you. If PayPal is not professional enough to fix this, then i am so sorry, not everyone have so much time to wait for something that “unable to provide timeframe” to fix it. i was planning to buy plenty templates from you guys but this problem is really annoying! if this still can’t be solve by next week, then i have to give up on you guys and go for other alternative template seller…sorry… hope you can push paypal to fix this as soon as possible… thanks in advance.

I am using the MayaShope theme and believe i need to install the USPS Plug In so I can do shipping by weight. I will be using the PayPal gateway for payment. Sounds like others have done this. Can someone tell me if purchasing and printing the shipping label through PayPal works efficiently or do you need to enter each shipping address as a separate new file? Thanks for any insight someone can offer.

Reading these replies i think i am wasting my time even dealing with you people, paypal are destroying your credability and you are allowing them to do so! Really i dont know who is the more incompetent them or themeforest, grow some balls people before these clowns ruin you, and at least put some credit card facilities on your site! Other wise you can keep the money i have in my account and i will delete you and find someone with some actual business sense. Regards Daniel P Warren

You’ve already lost $1000 of our money and we’ve made sure that the developers that lost out on that business know and understand why… in fact we’ve made every attempt to buy the themes we needed directly from the creators, before moving on.

Envato! Your support sucks!!!!! ...We have asked this question several times and have never recieved a streight answer from you. Maybe you’ll do a better job of supporting us here here in front of other customers and the developers we are trying to do business with.

What’s the solution to this “LAME ASS , ENVATO” problem??? Is it to open up another account with you? Or to just ditch you all together!

This is obviously something to do with our account here… as we are using the exact same credit cards to the buy themes elsewhere online (through PayPal) and they work perfectly.

As far as we’re concerned, this is not our “PayPal” account that’s screwed up. We don’t have one. We refuse to use PayPal, and have done so for years now. This problem is with our Envato account!

If you can’t do the job of processing the transactions yourself… then get someone who can!!! Meanwhile we’ll continue to do business elsewhere and we’ll continue to let the developers that work with you know exactly know why.

Hi @thefamily and @upstreamsupport, The reason that this thread hasn’t been updated is because the situation is still unresolved. If you do not want to use PayPal you can deposit your money and pay using Marketplace Credits. You can also pay via credit card. To Pay via Credit Card Click the Buy Now option and when it goes through to the payment page, select the “do not have a PayPal account” option. This option enables you to pay by credit card. I hope this helps.
