How many of you got this message on rejection while your file has nothing wrong?

You’ll need to work over this design somewhat here, considering things like the general style. Have a think about the tracking, leading, kerning, use of alignment, whitespace and proximity. Think about the font choice too and the general complexity.

I got it on forrst and i fixed the mistakes but for the reviewers wasnt good enough and after 10 minutes i see a file got accepted that has all this things in the typography matter! WHAT IS THIS ! REVIEWERS BE FAIR TO YOUR REJECTIONS ! i will fix the file that has nothing to fix and i will change the style of the file and feel i wanted to give! Reviewer doesnt like the font!

And another hit that is a joke!

The design here is ok, but it still needs more work. We’ve recently had an increase in the minimum quality level of files required, at the request of authors and buyers a like. Because of this, we are unable to accept this file. You need to add more detail, to give the file more refinement and make sure the design is 100% perfect. It’s quite a simplistic, basic look and isn’t accomplished enough to be added to GraphicRiver.

Come On no bling bling no aceept! Get of of the box!

Hey Hotpin,

I think your flyer is built on a good idea,

but I agree something isn’t quite working with the typography. The first thing that jumped out was the hierarchy of your typeface sizes. Your main title seems overwhelmed by the sub-header.

Also there seems to be a bigger space in-between the ‘A’ and ‘Y’ on the large wednesdays title.

Finally the other point which just jumped out at me is the shadow on ‘texas hold em’ it seems to be blurry and a different angle to the drop shadow on Wednesdays.

I hope this helps, a fresh pair of eyes is sometimes needed.

Did they give you any specific reason about why it’s being rejected? Any hints?

All I can come up with is that maybe it’s just too simple. I mean… The fact that an item can be easily reproduced, sometimes it’s crucial for this kind of rejections. Sometimes items get rejected because of this.

My advice: Spice it up!!

On the other hand, if they didn’t give you any directions at all, asking to work it over it’s not very nice.

Mate welcome back! on the first one they didnt like the typography ok i accept it! but on the secont one they want me to change the whole concept and make it more complex! This is not quality issue! Ok i will put boobs and some walls and some 1000 vectors in there to make it more complex! To work over and over on a file to get what?

Thank you! Anw i give up this issue because Envato needs to think who to keep and what to keep in there marketplace! But they have to proove us that all this work we are doing is paying of on sales! AND STOP ALL THIS VECTORS AND TEXTURES AS YOU SAY YOU RAISED QUALITY THEN PROVE IT !

As I thought… They think it’s too simple! The problem I see here, is that they’ve pointed you the directions to improve your item only to reject it later. Although I think that’s not nice, I know that’s not intentional of them! The second reviewer it’s probably not the same who did it at first.

The first time it happened to me, I just got furious about it. Sometimes it happens…

Your designs are great and very occasions driven, just make it more like it. Just add some more elements that will link with the theme.

The reviewer was the same but ok i will make it more complex ansdleave behind the concept i had about it! More work for me!
