League Gothic is...

...the new Cu3er.

Used and abused like $2 whhh… whale… uh, I don’t know… it’s an awesome font but I think it sets and requires a distinct tone or setting … and seems to be being used with lot’s of different styles not necessarily fitting it… maybe I’m a stupid-face, but just putting it out there… seeing what others think…

it’s going to be nice when The League of Moveable Type or the Google Font API expands their lists…

I feel the same about Myriad Pro, but Yeah, I agree witcha fo sho.

Really? Which themes are using that font? I inspired the titles of my Theme Communitie in the Snook.Ca site but I haven’t seen another theme using it.

There’s at least 4 on the homepage right now using it (including yours)... and I usually see a couple each week or so using it… that and lot’s around the ol’web recently… plus there’s a couple of look-a-like fonts that have sprung up lately that look really close to it…

I’m not saying it’s bad… or don’t use it… I just see it as a very distinct, strong, “I’m here to make a statement!” font… which is probably why it’s so popular… but I also see it in some designs mixed with other strong and/or medium fonts and scratch my head a little, like maybe another not so bold choice should be used…

Again, just my opinion… it’s a nice font, and would hate for people to be sick of seeing it… like cu3er…
