usually linux is able to read stuff that windows for some reason doesn’t see or doesn’t let you touch. I’m assuming you have windows, I’m not sure if linux can bring to life an apple device, probably yes.

I think its not must that only an author can do any technical work. I joined themeforest for some other work but while browsing threads, i just saw this and thought to help you. Well, that’s your choice. Good luck

the free linux live CD SystemRescueCd has saved me many times (or any live cd with photorec / test-disc installed). The photorec command line tool works a treat for accidentally formatted camera cards or USB sticks.

You can also try stellar phoenix recovery software althought its not free but it can show you before purchasing it that is it capable of recovering your lost files or not then only go for buying it.
