Need Help with English

Hi mates,

Some rejection falls on my logo with the reason below:

You’ll need to work at the pirhana detailing a little. In particular, the forehead is a little odd in appearance. You need to emphasise the ridge / eyebrows or remove it as it’s too subtle currently.

Well my English isn’t good enough to understand what exactly is wrong? Can anyone show me the preview or write it in other words, so I can clearly understand what to improve?

I believe what they are saying is this bump or ridge either needs to emphasised more (more pronounced/made bigger) or it needs to be removed. At the moment its not doing anything – it is too minor a change to be seen properly on a logo.

you need to find a better font as well. what you have right now isn’t cutting it.

The piranha itself isn’t very good either. It’s very simple, but too detailed around the teeth at the same time. It’s also too flat, and looks very web 1.0 styled. Also as xstortionist said, the font is just bad, doesn’t fit. The colors are bland too.

I had a logo rejected for a similar reason – details have to be clear at any size, including thumbnail, and when my logo was reduced it was difficult to see some lines.

I you make the piranha’s forehead just one curve, and bigger, and maybe do less teeth so they are all a bit wider, then that will fix the problem.
