Hi,
First off I would like to say I’m an absolute beginner so please bare with me here
I have been purchasing flyer templates and editing them successfully in photoshop cs 6, for a few months, as this was my bosses computer and he had gone away, the staff decided we should set up a computer of our own to get our poster production up and running again again. My partner got everything set up and I noticed they had purchased illustrator instead of cs6, I can’t seem to edit the templates at all.
Could someone please tell me if illustrator is not capable of doing so? I really don’t want to unessasarily purchase cs6 if I don’t have too
Jess
You mean, you want to edit your Flyer in PSD (Photoshop) format to Illustrator?
You can open PSD as the Photoshop Extension in Illustrator, but everything in Photoshop, a bit different in Illustrator as the Vector Software
I wondered if it was POSSIBLE for me to edit flyer templates that I purchased from graphicriver in Illustrator
Ok thank you
I know photoshop is quite expensive on its own, but if you are a pretty frequent buyer, it may be for the best to just purchase it
The solution from me is just try to ope in Illustrator, as I know, Flyer is so many special effects from Photoshop, like Party Flyer, Music Flyer and so on, so perhaps some of effects cannot directly edit in llustrator.

You need to get Photoshop for Photoshop Templates an Illustrator for Illustrator Templates
