Guessing if you can get the price in there you can also get at the number of sales – that’d be handy but hten again it might look silly on the new items with 0 sales.

Yes, I agree with you, it might look silly. Besides it is too much information at one time, the buyer isn’t that objective anymore as well. I mean it is obvious, most of the people think: Many sales = High quality (but this isn’t always the case!)
