I live in Australia, it cannot be the internet speed LOL !
I think they have either optimised the servers, or upgraded the server. Maybe even fiddled with cacheing.
But deffo seems a lot faster

lol. I remember a while back the internet was so bad that the devs couldn’t upload a fixed file for a bundle that was selling like crazy. too much load on the server and not enough pipes for aussies to get through.
that new “sso” thing was part of some “new home page caching”, and some of the recent downtime was installing a brand spanking load balancer, so they’ve been busy speeding up the sites!
