Unfortunately today my paypal account has been hacked… I was lucky that i was at home and in real time i contacted paypal support and blocked this thief from stealing me some money but i got really scared… how is that even possible with a complicate password!!! People be really carefull!

It is really scary but how did you find out it was hacked? Did you lose some money or you find unusual transactions inside your account?

someone added a prepaid card to my account and tried to take money from my paypal account… i was lucky that i was in front at the computer in real time and blocked it istantly!! paypal should give me back all the money… im doing all the scan possible but it seems there is no virus…

never got a fake email…i’m always carefull about this stuff… i’m really surprised that this happened!

Be aware if there are loggers on your pc/mac, I read on the avg blog, the hackers have the ability to see your screen and if you have webcam installed they can see the user too. Scary it is. Monitoring your traffic is a good idea too and always use 16+ characters if possible as your standard but if you can go to 20 characters it is better. Envato did support 20 characters passwords, I don’t know about paypal.
