Price change impact?

Not that I was a star on the marketplace, but I can validate the fact that sales dropped.

The week 13-19/9 was the best for me since I’ve been here. But last week 20-26/9 went almost half % down . And more than half of the sales came from the cheapest item in my portfolio. Now, I’ve got a couple new items since yesterday and nothing’s moving for them so far, but it’s too early to say, had just a few tinie-tiny sales for some of my oldest ones though. Maybe it’s starting to move again , who knows, I think we need a bit of time to come to absolute conclusions. But again, I can’t stop thinking what Mulder once said: “If coincidences are just coincidences, why do they feel so contrived?”. Or maybe I just wanted to throw this line in here b/c I like it haha

Then again, if you had 10 sales that gave you 5$, and now -with the increases, you still get those 5$ with half the sales, the number of sales is just a number really, at least as far as not losing earnings is concerned. Also, since author rates get determined by number of $ and not number of sales, I’ll start worrying when sales will dicrease so much (knock wood) that the essence gets affected, which is the actual earnings.

It’s almost the same for me except for the tinie tiny sales part. I’m hardly making any sales.

Yeah i will do thing are not looking good so far but I wont really be able to tell for a while, i think a lot of the drop in sales has to do with my file not being featured any more.

Maybe we’re just using different words for the same situation Rain? If by “hardly any sales” you mean like, 4 sales, that’s exactly the number of sales I made in the last day (27th) and I’m calling it ‘tinie-tiny’ (I think best sales I ever had for a day was like, 10-12?) for my case on GR so far.
