I think that the changeable text “Welcome” under the main image in the profile page is antiaesthetic and useless. If an author wants to add a similar line he can add it by editing the profile page in settings without this obligatory line.

Sorry for the mistake.. I meant the “Profile Heading”. Watch it in the Profile page settings..

I think rather than remove this option by default, having the option for the more advanced user to disable this feature would be ok.

Many, many, many Authors haven’t a clue where to start with html, including the basics of H tags, so removing this by default may make it rather difficult for them.
