When did psdbucket changed our ref links to /user/maldinii ? Or was it from the start changed automatically after upload?
Hmm not sure…I’ve only submited there once, got it posted up…but when I checked the link…I think it showed my username still.

Oh well..you can’t do much bout it….he helps you get your works viewed by other members…and he collects the res himself…I guess.

I’ve stopped uploading to PSD Bucket.
Used to be a great site, but there are now so many errors on the site, and they seem to be continuing
Several of my items that I uploaded, somehow ended up linking to other Authors items
I notified the new owners several times of where errors were happening, but nothing ever got fixed.
Plus, the amount of effort it takes to upload with their odd preview image sizes, doesn’t seem to be worth the reward.
RE ref links, to avoid sites like that stealing your ref links, use a shortlink.
I use my domain name for creating shortlinks, qaedesign.co.uk/myitem converts to graphicriver.net/item/my-item/1234?ref=quickandeasy, for example.
This way, no one can steal your links as the referral code is added after the user has left the site you’re promoting on.
