Question about Clickthroughs and Referrals

Hi guys, I’m looking at my earnings, under “referrals” is a chart that shows clickthroughs. What exactly is a clickthrough? Does that mean that someone clicked on a link somewhere outside of AJ, if so, is there anyway to find out where from?

Also, I saw once in a post someone talking about a profile counter, is there such thing? Thanks in advance guys.

Hello, yes, that is what clickthroughs are. When someone clicks on an external link after using your reference I.e. ?ref=richspeller_music after your link. If someone buys after clicking on your external link… It will show up there.

I don’t personally have a counter, but there are some around. I am sure someone will post a link….

I use Flag Counter on my profile page. It’s pretty easy to set up too.

Try opting for the ‘mini counter’ option, if you want to avoid clutter on your page.

Flag counter is awesome. But very addictive I check every moment of the day (ps: I have 2 counters: 1 on my profile and 1 on my files)

Hmmm, I’ve had hundreds of clickthroughs, but unfortunately it seems the conversion rate is VERY low So not much luck there…. Stiil I keep banging referral links on everything I do, maybe one day…...... LOL

I’ve had over 4000 referred clickthroughs since I started on AJ, and not a single conversion yet. If it were on Themeforest however, it would be a very different story, I’m sure.
