Question about Design?

Ok so recently I have been very intrigued with designing web elements, facebook timelines, and buttons. I am wondering I have seen this being called many things including web design, UI design, and other stuff. I want to list it as a skill on my portfolio. What should I call it?

Another important factor is that I have no knowledge of coding. None whatsoever. But what do you call the guy who designs the elements used in web design?

If anyone knows please let me know Thanks!

A web designer who codes would be called “Back-End-Developer” – A Designer is a “Front End Designer”

Web Designer but only if you can create full site layout. Those who just do coding are Web Developers. I think those who do both coding and designing can call themselves either web designer or web developer or both.

Edit: I agree with Graphic-Studio if you just create elements for web design. But if you can create good user interface then there’s one more title which is UI Designer.

Hmmm. looking for the more specific term for web design and things over the web. Not just the broad category

Why not try ‘Digital Artist’, I always kinda liked how that sounded.

Web Developer it is, i guess its the most standard way of calling the field i guess.
